The ripple effects go much wider than just supporting local organic farmers
looking after our backyards with ethical, regenerative methods...
All of our farm inputs; our chook feed, our soil amendments etc,
must be approved organic, as must all of our suppliers' inputs in turn.
Whenever you buy organic, you are supporting the wider movement.
For example, our eggs and pasta play a small but significant part in
helping the growth of Western Australia's organic grain industry!
We're supporting thousands of hectares of wheat and lupins in WA's Wheatbelt
to be grown without toxic chemicals or GMOs.
This benefits our biodiversity, our water catchments and the air we share,
As well as benefiting our own health because toxins fix in living tissues.
Toxin bio-accumulation (build-up of chemicals such as those found in non-organic stock feed or medicines)
means industrial poisons can persist in food-chains and the ecosystem as a whole,
which has been shown to directly affect human health.
